3/8/2009 I went here last nite based on a recommendation from a friend. I never made it to the old one so I have nothing to compare it to. I love all of my local stomping grounds such as Buff's, Conleys, and Donahues, but glad to have found another great place. I had the blackened steak and turkey tip combo plate and it was amazing. Having ordered steak tips recently at places like Paddy's, Grand Canal, RF O'Sullivans, I will say that West Street nailed it. The turkey tips were nice and tender and grilled to perfection. I will be going back here for the tips and the guinness. Place is a bit small so shhh.....lets keep it on the DL. Thanks Jon for the recommendation.

11/12/2008 Went here last night and was definitely impressed especially when compared to the many other mid-level italian restaurants in the watertown area. the reviews were pretty much spot on as the garlic bread and chicken saltimbocca were outstanding. not sure why someone mentioned caesar salad as it was not on the menu. service was good as there was only one waiter attending to about 6 tables. I really enjoyed the marsala sauce with my saltimbocca. it was probably one of my favorite sauces ever. I also had lots of leftovers to bring home and enjoy. this place is definitely worth it for the good food and reasonable prices. i will definitely be going back here.

11/12/2007 One of fav go-to's in the north end.. food and service always very consistent. the owner is a nice guy who make sure he takes care of everyone. our waiter the other nite was great and recommended some good wine. also brought us some limoncello after dinner. wine list is a bit pricey, but the entrees are reasonable. my fav is the veal saltimbocca. it is unreal w fontina cheese and wine sauce. It seems like so many places in the north end are hit or miss depending on the night. this place will not disappoint.
